  For my memories fast forward to the late 70’s and early 80’s when I was about ten. I grew up in Alabama and New York City at the same time. During my younger school years, I went to Catholic school in Alabama and every summer I stayed in New York. I moved to New York permanently when I became a freshman in high school in an all girl Catholic College Prep High School in the Bronx.

As a child I grew up in Wetumpka, Alabama. I had first hand insight of my grandmother’s natural remedies and solutions for every illness and discomfort. She always had a slew of vegetables, fruits and pecans on hand all the time. My grandmother was an educator and in her retirement years, a homemaker. I often slip back in time with memories of my childhood growing up on our land in Wetumpka, Alabama. My grandmother knew every wild fruit, vegetable and herb and it’s usage for whenever someone got sick. Every illness was treated with one of her remedies. I remember the dark rich black soil in which her garden was planted. I have to admit, when I was young I didn't truly appreciate it, I used to mumble under my voice when she commanded me to go out and pick some vegetables for dinner that evening. (My thought process, I did not want to ruin my shoes.) LOL!

I remember we had a delicious pear tree and 2 big humongous pecan trees in our front yard. I remember walking down the dirt road and picking blueberries, plums and chewing on sour grass. We played kick ball all day and pretend church. LOL! We had a horse and 2 pigs (2 pigs I hated to feed those pigs they smelled awful). We also had a well from which the water tasted like it was sent straight from God himself. Right before the winter, my grandmother would collect jars for pickling and canning preserves for the winter.

This is why I truly feel I must inform and share ,” The Healthy Club”. I believe that if we can go back 50 years to the way things used to be, to that friendly neighborhood environment when someone knocked at your back door and you heard them say, ”Coming in”, and they entered with fresh vegetables, green peas or pecans picked right from their home garden. Going back 50 years we took care of the land without chemicals and pesticides, prepared healthy meals with fruits and vegetables, and we didn't eat foods that were processed and packaged from non healthy grocery store shelves.

Many people would be alive today if only they had the knowledge that, thousands of substances found in processed food can lead to immune dysfunction, which will allow for illnesses to kick start. If we each examine our lifestyle, we will find lots of processed foods with NO nutritional value and sugar-burdened products that are the mainstay of most American diets.

 

My daily food intake consisted of a fatty breakfast w/lots of bread, fast food for lunch, diet soda as my beverage, no water, eating out almost every night for dinner and desserts with every meal.

10 years ago, I had no energy for anything; I had to go constantly to the doctor, because as soon as I got behind the wheel of a car, I would automatically fall asleep.

I was constantly taking naps throughout the day because I had no energy for anything.

Not knowing the whole time, whenever I fell asleep, it was always after a high sugar high carb meal.

I was 5'11 and weighing 190lbs, thinking because I was tall/thin that was my weight was no problem.

10 years ago, I honestly thought the way my physical body looked and felt, my emotional well being, my outlook on life itself and my low finances at the time was the final outlook of my life story .

I never thought that 10 years ago I had the power to change all of those things, by just only fixing 2 of them, my diet and lifestyle.

10 years ago, I never took the time to really look in the mirror for more than 10 minutes, because I never took time for myself. I didn't even think that there was ever a chance I could improve my physical health.

10 years ago, I also felt the job I was at, at the time, would be my job until I retired. I never for once thought about my Passion, no one ever asked me what is your passion? What is your special unique talent that no one else has on this earth but
you?

Not knowing that your passion and your special unique talent is the key to the answer, what is my purpose here on earth?

With all of that, I never knew, the foods I was eating, were the contributing factors to the unhappiness and dissatisfaction with my physical wellness in my life at the time. This unhappiness and dissatisfaction with my physical wellness was also clouding my spiritual wellness.

For the past few years, I've made major physical life changes. To start, ten years ago I decided to start eating healthy, I totally cut sugar and white flour out of my life, this was my new lifestyle change. I decided to start watching the sugar and carbs intake of my daily foods, I started noticing that there was sugar in every single thing I ate. I was not eating healthy at all. I educated myself on how to find sugar in every single thing I ate. I soon discovered how they trick you with sugar in every single food item. It's called, "Fructose corn syrup and Hydrogenated Soybean Oil". This was the culprit that was giving millions of people diabetes, high blood pressure and a host of many chronic illnesses today. The tricks (chemical ingredients) in food were also named sucrose, fructose, enriched bleached flour, natural flavors, artificial flavors, niacin, palm oil and gluten.

 

Once I stop eating every single food item that had these ingredients, my body and my facial structure totally transformed. I immediately started loosing weight and my body was transforming physically that first week. In 6 months I lost a total of 50 lbs., I was back to my high school weight of 150 lbs.  People literally thought I had plastic surgery, I turned back my life's clock 20 years. My hair grew faster, my nails never looked so healthy and and my skin just transformed.

Before and After photos. During my total lifestyle change I switched to organic fruits and vegetables, meditation, walking only for exercise and stevia sugar for my coffee. I also changed my household cleaning and personal body care products to organic, yes organic.  For the first time in my life, my clothes were fitting me perfectly and I looked different physically and felt different emotionally. People would say, you look different and I would just reply, "I have changed my lifestyle". My secret weapon, completely cutting out sugar and white flour. Feeling young and vibrant at 38 and looking forward to a illness free life.

Why I started the Healthy Club?
Because the revolution in everyone's healthcare happens one person at a time. To make a fundamental a change in your life to take control of your health to prevent, cope with or reverse chronic illnesses requires both confidence knowledge and courage. The Healthy Club is helping thousands of people do just that.

The Healthy Club was started from this simple thought: Many people might be alive today if only they knew and was shown to use certain natural nutritional products and live a wellness lifestyle, which includes using all natural laundry detergent to all natural household cleaning products.

This club is not condemning conventional medicine, like prescription drugs. If my finger is accidentally cut off for some reason, I want to go and have conventional medicine administered to me immediately. Many studies have shown that there are a number of cases where taking conventional medicine, a lot of people would not have lived.

If I am suffering from arthritis illness, I do not want medicine to ease the pain, I want a nutritional supplement that will reverse my arthritis and help re-store the natural oil and re-build the cartilage back into my bones.

We hope one day that conventional medicine will retain its place in the field of surgery and other traumatic conditions where it cannot be replaced. But, our hope is really to have natural nutritional products be referred to people to help them with their chronic illnesses, to heal them, not to make them feel good temporarily. Natural nutritional products are not only safer than prescription drugs but also a lot cheaper.
